This cedar deck and fence are stained in Messmer’s natural color transparent stain. The customer chose to spend a little extra and upgrade to metal posts. This is a great idea because the post is always the first thing to fail on a cedar fence due to rot. The metal posts alone make this fence last more like 50 years instead of 25.
