Cedar Lattice Fence with Gate and Garden Arbor

SW Portland – This project demonstrates how functional perimeter security can be transformed into a sophisticated landscape feature. We designed and installed a custom cedar lattice fence, utilizing a tight-knit square grid pattern that offers privacy while maintaining an airy, garden-like feel. To address the natural slope of the property, the fence includes integrated retaining at the base, providing a clean, level transition between the gravel pathway and the surrounding foliage. The centerpiece of the installation is a handcrafted cedar arbor and matching gate, which creates a stunning architectural transition into the yard. Every element, from the sturdy black metal post bases to the wide top-cap railing, is finished in a deep Oxford Brown stain. This rich tone highlights the natural wood grain and creates a cohesive, high-end look that perfectly complements the home’s exterior and the lush, green backdrop.
