Cedar Privacy fence

This customer had an old fence that was in need of replacement. He was about to have a hot tub installed in the back yard and wanted a true privacy fence so he could enjoy the tub. The problem with standard cedar fences is that after they are installed the wood cures and shrinks which leads to small gaps in between the fence boards. The way we like to overcome this is by overlapping the boards so that even when they shrink, there will be no gaps. This also gives the fence a nice undulating pattern.
