Custom Acrylite patio cover

This customer was looking for a more traditional looking deck and patio cover but with more modern materials. So we used a cedar frame for the patio cover. It has 4×6 rafters, 6×6 posts, and also a glulam beam that we stained to match, to avoid a center post. The roof of the patio cover is made of aluminum T bars holding dual wall Acrylite panels in Cool Blue Heatstop color. This color reflects the heat of the sun but lets plenty of light in. The decking is Azek PVC in the color Weathered Teak. We installed a cedar privacy screen on one side and stained all the wood in natural stain. This is a very nice addition to her back yard!
