Here in Oregon we get a lot of rain, that much is obvious. But what to do about dealing with said rain isn’t as obvious. Here we have a couple who had a concrete patio with no covering over it. They wanted to be able to walk outside in the rainy season without getting wet but also wanted to let the light shine through in the summer. They didn’t want to spend too much money, so we went with a basic polycarbonate patio cover in the color of smoke. This color is nice because it hides some debris that is bound to fall on the structure from trees but also lets most of the light through, so you aren’t in a dark environment when the sun is shining. We think this is a great low cost way to provide extra dry space to the outside of one’s home.
