This customer was planning on selling this house but the original fence was falling down. We replaced the fence around the entire perimeter of the sides and back of the house so that the house could be sold. Notice the rich colors in the fencing we use. It is rare to find such dark reds and pinks in much of today’s fencing because many of the trees used today for fencing are young and don’t have much resin built up in them. We have a special source for our fencing that comes from the Pacific northwest and still has that old traditional color spectrum. This wood will last much longer than the whiter boards you see today because the darker red the board is, the more oils it has internally which protects it from rotting. In fact, the color of pressure treated wood is the color that it is because they are imitating with preservatives the color of old growth cedar. This is a beautiful yet simple fence
