Tamko Elements Cape Cod Grey composite deck w/ cedar railing

This is a nice affordable composite deck built with Tamko Elements decking in the color of Cape Cod Grey. While we will build a deck out of any brand of decking a customer chooses, Tamko is the only other brand of decking we recommend besides Timbertech. The primary reason is cost. They have the most economically viable type of composite decking on the market and as you can see it looks great. You may notice several decks on our site that have composite decking but a cedar hand rail, the reason for this is also cost. Composite railing systems are the most expensive part of a composite deck, generally ranging from $30 to $60 a linear foot for the material cost alone.  So because the decking material itself is similar in cost to cedar but lasts longer, many people prefer a composite deck with a cedar railing.
