Trex deck and Acrylite patio cover

We built this deck to replace a faulty waterproof deck that was there previously. This deck has Trex Tiki torch decking with a Spiced Rum picture frame border. The patio cover has an aluminum frame and dual wall Acrylite panels in the color Cool Blue Heatstop. The deck will last a lifetime and the cover will too. The thing we really like about these patio covers is that they let light through, so they don’t darken the windows next to them but they also reflect the heat of the summer sun, so it is comfortable to be under them mid summer. Because this deck is so close to the ground and the roof line is low, we inverted the pitch of the roof so there is more room underneath and the water drains onto the house roof. This deck creates a nice outdoor space for socializing year round!
